Dear Praying Friends,

Greetings from Florida! After 3 ½ months of traveling, we are very thankful to be safely back home.  We had a wonderful trip to Alaska.  Everywhere there were breathtaking views of mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls, and it was always exciting to suddenly come upon wildlife.  And, oh, the flowers were blooming in such brilliant colors!  It was a perfect combination of work and play.  We praise the Lord for safety as we traveled over 13,000 miles by land and another 1,500 by ferry.  The fishing was great, but the visits in churches on Sundays and Wednesdays were better still.  We met a lot of wonderful, dedicated pastors, missionaries, and Christian brethren.  I made contact with approximately 52 pastors, and I preached 17 times!

We are so thankful for the opportunity we had on many occasions to challenge Christians to hold one-on-one Bible classes with the unsaved.  More than 1,000 copies of Becoming a Christian were sold during our trip.

1.    Please pray for lasting results from our visits in churches in Alaska.

2.    Please pray for the many classes that have been started through these contacts.

3.    Please pray for the classes we have here in Saint Petersburg, especially for Daisy and Francisco who are “tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine.”

4.    Please pray for us as we seek the Lord’s guidance as we begin new classes in this area.

5.    Please pray for us as we make contacts with pastors in Florida and prepare for one-on-one evangelism seminars in this area.

6.    We praise the Lord for the new families who have been converted through the evangelism efforts in Guadalajara. Please continue to pray for Pastor Miguel and for the health needs of his wife, Clemen.

Thank you so very much for your prayers and for your financial support of this ministry.

Yours for the Truth,

Myron and Dotty Philippi
